Chris Brown, the R'n'B star is the proud owner of Diamond, the Blue American Pitbull. This is a brave and determined dog breed; that can get hostile if provoked.

Aggie, nice pic but why do you have to imply that the dog can get hostile, that is the rudest thing, it looks like the sweetest dog. Pitbulls get a bad rap the least you could do is not refer to them as hostile.
The key word there is : " Can ". They can get hostile, but it is no way meant to mean that they do. But like all dogs - and it is safe to say it is sometimes breed specific- pitbulls can get hostile if provoked. It does not in any way mean that Chris Brown's dog is hostile - or the breed as such. But as a general observation - that can also be meant for Rottweilers or Chihuahuas on heat - they can get hostile. Generalization is all that it was. Yes, the breed is often given a bad reputation. Reason: Statistics, fear and ignorance all rolled into one. The comment was not meant to perpetuate either of the three. It was a simple observation based on fact and opinion. If you see it as purely subjective, I apologize.
